Land Rover Range Rover Sport GT Limited Edition 2 (11)

What I say: I hate all car reviewers when it comes to judging the Range Rover Sport.  Without exception they  compare the Range Rover Sport to the Range Rover.  The problem with that comparison is an average $30,000 that separate the Sport from the "Full-Size." That's the difference of a Ford Focus to Mercedes-Benz E550.  That's another bedroom on a house.  The critics do this because they typically are people who can not afford the cars they drive.  They are wanna be car snobs, and very very lazy.  In the same way they compare every Porsche to a 911, critics see the Land Rover name and assume everyone knows the Range Rover and will want the see how any Land Rover compares to it.  The truth is only a very few have driven a "Full-Size" Range Rover and a better comparison would be to a Lexus or a BMW.  Each of those cars most people have driven and would understand a comparison.
I love the Sport on its own merit.  It is truly an exceptional off-road vehicle (as I can personally attest), and (if you can get past the obnoxiously long vehicle name) it is a completely bad -ass vehicle with major cool points afforded to every driver even if the crazy chick from Real House Wives New Jersey drove one.
The GT Sport Limited Edition 2 Package really makes the Sport.  I hope that this a sign of where the Sport is going, but the low clearance makes me think they will pass on making it standard.  I would buy this car if only it had the cooler box in the center console.  I know it is a small thing, but without it it looks like a center cap is missing.  Land Rover has gone in the right direction in the past 2 model years and I can't wait to see the line continue to Evolve.
